The Apple Cash Cow Rolls On

So, on the day I suddenly realise quite how much money I've spent the last few months, Apple bring out the iPad 2. Bastard Apple. Always do this to me.

To be fair, it's an amazing product. A third thinner, lighter, twice as fast, two cameras, new apps, brighter and better screen, nicer graphics - the whole lot. And yes, Adam will inevitably end up getting one. Just to play Scrabble mind - you can hook up iPhones as tile holders. Amazin'.

But how can it keep going? How can I keep going, more importantly?! In the last 3 months... A new camera, Kylie tickets, a holiday to Portugal, nearly £50 on train tickets, an equal amount of lovely lovely Starbucks.... It's been a bit of a mad few months.

And I can't help myself wanting more and more. Really. It's a bit crazy. Money comes in, and goes straight back out. I mean, who even invented Direct Debit?!

Anyway, iPad. Yes, that's where we were. I'm a bit of an Apple fanatic, to be fair. iPhone 4, iPod Classic 5G, iMac 27" i5... Dad's got an iPhone 3GS, we all have iPods... It's become a new-fangled obsession. And we're not the only ones.

All you have to do is pop it into Google, and look at the Apple-gorgeousness oozing out of every image and every link. The fact I'm even making up my own words to describe them disturbs me even more.

So hopefully, at some point shortly, I'll be writing to you off my new iPad 2, with a Smart Cover. Obviously - you can't have one without the other...

Thank God my 18th isn't far away.
